Easy to Clean
Handwash with warm water and a little soap. For extra stuck-on messes, heat water to a simmer and use a pan scraper after waffle iron has cooled.Dry thoroughly with a paper towel or lint-free cloth. (Some black residue from the seasoning is normal.)Finally, rub a very thin layer of oil (see list below) inside and outside of your waffle maker and use a paper towel to wipe the excess off the surface until no oil residue remains. Note: Using too much oil can cause the cookware to be sticky.

This cast iron model is simple, strong, and easy to season, without plugging in.
Iconic Galen Lehman Design – Personally developed to answer customer requests, this cast iron waffle maker features a unique double rim that virtually eliminates dripping—no other iron waffle maker offers this flawless edge
Superb Cast Iron Performance – Far outlasts aluminum. Cast iron offers superior heat retention and even distribution for perfectly crisp, golden waffles every time
DIY Oven Re-Seasoning for Peak Performance: Though pre-seasoned with soybean oil, we strongly recommend re-seasoning at home for superior release. When stickiness appears or seasoning wears off, clean and dry the iron, rub on oil as above, then bake it upside down in a 400–500°F oven for 1 hour (with a tray beneath). Let it cool inside the oven before handling. Repeat to build an even more durable, non-stick finish.
Perfect 7-inch Rounds – Creates delicious, crispy-edged waffles approximately 7″ in diameter—ideal for topping with butter, syrup, or fresh fruit.
Smart Hinge Design – Dual-piece setup lets each half detach easily for cleaning. Keeps maintenance simple while preserving vintage charm.
Best for Gas, Works on Electric – Performs best over gas or open flame; also usable on electric stovetops. Not compatible with induction or smooth glass cooktops.
Built to Last – Measures approximately 13‑1/4″ L × 8″ W × 1‑3/8″ H, with a 4‑1/2″ handle. Weighs around 8 lb for durable performance and professional feel.
Easy-Clean Cast-Iron Care: Wash by hand using warm water and a little soap. For stubborn batter, simmer water in the iron before using a pan scraper (after it cools). Dry thoroughly with a paper towel or lint-free cloth—black residue from seasoning is normal and not a problem. Finally, apply a very thin layer of high-smoke-point oil to both the interior and exterior, then wipe off any excess to prevent stickiness (using too much oil can create a sticky surface). Keep dry to prevent rust.
