1. Volume Memory: The ZP3 supports multiple input modes and offers a volume memory feature to enhance user experience. When switching between inputs with varying signal strengths, users often need to manually adjust the volume each time. The ZP3 automatically remembers the volume setting for each input mode, adjusting to the previous volume level when switched to the corresponding input.
2. HPF Adjustment: For the RCA/XLR output frequency range, the ZP3 supports high-pass filter (HPF) adjustment to filter out low-frequency signals, allowing only high-frequency signals to pass through. This ensures that high frequencies are delivered to the main speakers, while low frequencies are handled by the subwoofer.
The HPF switch at the bottom of the ZP3 offers three adjustable cutoff frequencies, allowing users to fine-tune it based on their needs.
3. Bypass: When this feature is enabled, the signal bypasses the bass and treble adjustment.
4. 12V Trigger: It allows seamless power on/off synchronization with Fosi Audio ZD3 DAC and ZA3 amp, eliminating the need for separate device power management.
FAQ:
Q: One channel is louder than the other? A: Make sure the balance knob is centered on the ZP3 and the input signal is balanced between the two channels.
Q: Can I switch between RCA and XLR output? A: No. RCA and XLR outputs work at the same time and cannot be switched independently.
Q: Why is there no bass or the bass sounds weak? A: Check if the HPF switch on the bottom is set to 20Hz–20kHz to avoid filtering out low frequencies. Also check if the bass knob is set too low.

NOTE: When connecting ZP3 for the first time, please turn the volume knob 3-4 full turns counterclockwise to minimize the volume. This helps prevent speaker damage or hearing loss due to high default volume. ZP3 remembers the volume level for each input. We recommend reducing the volume before playback when using a new input (such as RCA1, RCA2, or XLR) for the first time.
