Needed a new camera to replace the decade old Logitech I had, however, most cameras seem to be very expensive and don't differentiate themselves in any real way. For a simple VoiP call, this is fantastic value. There's no frills, unnecessary additions or software required like most others for this purpose.
Would I be happier if it was 4k and had an ultra-wide frame view? Of course, but I didn't want to pay the $300 for the 120 frames 4k ultrawide camera.
It is also better than other cheaper options in this category as well. Much better than the Onn brand you could get from Walmart.
It's not better than the top brands in this category of web cams, but it isn't worse. It's also much cheaper, which ultimately, does make it better than those options.

I got this webcam for my husband after surprising him with a ps5 pro for Christmas he mentioned needing a webcam for some of his games especially NBA2K where they scan your face to create a player I had no idea these games got that detailed but this webcam turned out to be exactly what he needed he was so excited to try it out and it did not disappoint
He uses it for more than just games now he hooked it up to his lgtv and uses it to video chat with me instead of reaching for his phone it makes our chats feel more natural and connected the picture quality is really good everything looks clear and the colors come through nicely it picked up his face right away with no weird lag or blurring
It was super easy to set up and he clamped it right onto the tv with no problem he didn’t need to mess with a bunch of settings or wires and that made him even happier the microphone on it works great too I can hear him clearly and he says the same for me no static no cutting in and out it just works smoothly even when he is chatting with his
It actually works better than the webcam we spent 65.00 on at Walmart for 20.00 it actually gives off great quality.
I have been in the hospital for 2 months awaiting our second child so I video chat my son and husband alot. My toddler loves that he can talk to me on the big screen he says "Mama you on TV" I joke around and say yeah mama famous baby lol.. The webcam stay stable and doesn't leave marks on the tv or screen while being mounted on for long periods od time.

Zoom and other online meetings are still a thing and this is a handy camera to have if you work from a desktop computer instead of a laptop or phone with a built-in camera. You will need a USB A port or an adaptor from A to USB C, but it is easy enough to connect. The camera provides sharp video and has a built-in microphone so participating in a meeting and being heard and seen — or not, there is a privacy slide to block video if your program doesn't allow you to turn off video — makes this a useful addition. The minor drawback is the camera offers a wide view, so you need to be aware of your background when using it.
