Does this camera require Wi-Fi?

No. This is a 4G security camera, which doesn’t support Wi-Fi. Simply activate the included 4G SIM card, you can remotely access and control the camera on the Reolink App without Wi-Fi. You can also top up and manage data via the app.

How long does the camera run on a full charge?

When used without a solar panel and under default settings (300 seconds of recording daily), the camera lasts for about 4 months on a full charge. With 24/7 continuous recording or pre-recording mode enabled, it lasts for about 14 days.

Does this camera support continuous recording in addition to pre-recording?

Yes, it supports three modes: continuous recording, pre-recording, and motion-triggered recording. Switch between them and set up a custom recording schedule as needed.

Do I need to recharge the camera frequently with power adapter when using the solar panel?

No. With the included 12W solar panel, just 10 minutes of direct sunlight daily provides endless power under motion-triggered recording mode; 1 hour of sunlight powers 24/7 continuous recording.

Where is the camera suitable for use?

It’s ideal for places without Wi-Fi, such as farms, construction sites, vacation homes, parking lots, open-air warehouses, etc.
